The date I am writing this is the 28th of Feburary 2026 at around 11:00 UTC+1, the US with assistance from the state of Israel have just started to strike governmen facilities in Iran (thats the line at least)
At this time I am at my parents because of my father health and thusly objected to mainstream news. As others have observed, manufacturing consent is now mainly a thing you do after you bomb something,
what is more interesting is that the biggest news show here (Tagesschau) is basically going "The US and Israel attacked Iran, anyway here is why Israels iron dome and military is awsome!"

Online reactions are as expected, USamerican leftists minimize the role the US actually played in coordinating the attack to a degree where you would think that israel was the worldpower,
and not the other way around. There is a somewhat loud swathe of international leftists doing American-Diabolism, I really can't blame them.
Conservatives (this includes liberal centrist parties) are frothing at the mouth for this, rightwing extremists are split on this, on one and they are all in fovor of killing more muslims,
on the other hand they were promised no more wars in the middle east, especially at the behest of Israel.
Trump has given an announcement and as it stands there seems to be a possibility of boots on the ground. My government will come together in an hour to discuss things and have talks with the iranian envoy.
I do not think anything will come from this since we too are puppets of the US but maybe there will be some decent with the imperial father. I will continue writing this evening when more shit

It is now 16:40, Merz, Starmer and Marcron are doing the "weeeh Iran is so evil endless fielty to the USA" bit, strange to me considering its a actor threatening invasion of our european allies,
but rather consistent considering the interlocked gears of wester imperialism.
Things are still developing, USAmericans are now waking up and posting on the socials, lost or rants against republicans and calling Trump a pedophile, both deserved and (probably) true.
I dont know what I expected, maybe some stronger condemnations, or maybe even support of the actions the US and Israel took, from people I consider to have a good moral compas as a sort of vindication in my anger
towards the USAmerican empire.
The vibe is one of shock and defeat in general, I'd have to ask some of my USAmerican friends of opinios on the ground but I can't imagine there are many ordinary people there who support that. I hope.

It is now 19:45, this will be my last update for today. Parties gave their condemnations and/or boot licking statements, state media is actually kinda mixed on the whole sitution, at least more than US
"private" media companies. Though I attribute that to the fact that there has been basically no attempts by the US regime to present any sort of somewhat consistent line. Trump is on TV and my mother is

It is now the 1st of March 2026, 16:39, we have learned that the Ayatollah is dead and a council of Iranian leaders has assumed the leading role of the country.
News about what the people in Iran think is either non-existent or has to be assumed heavily skewed in favor of this military action. The iranians in exile are obviosly celebrating.
When regime change was the goal of the US and Israel, which is the charitable interpretation of this action, it has certainly failed for now.
Basically the same parties are in power in Iran as before and the actions taken have been completely unsuited to achive this goal. The US and Israel are still bombing Iran, Iran is retaliating.
Hormuz is closed, which means prices will be suring, regarding fuel and heating bills, and this actually puts the annexation of venezuela into perspective, but for us in the imperial periphery its basically just a price hike.
From what I can see is that Republicans are frothing at the mouth and Democrats are going "this is good but next time ask pls :3" or are dunking on ech other on social media...
US Soldiers have been killed already, the USS Lincoln was apparently struck by rockets but we have to see what comes of that. There will be fallout from this yet unbeknownst to the world and god I wish the horrors would stop.
It is now the 4th of March, 19:19, I would not have written an update if things didnt turn absurd, but the US navy undersea boat just torpedoed a iranian warship in international waters.
And for some reason this feels worse to me as if they just nuked the uninhabited mountains of Iran. Maybe it is because it has been since the second world war that a U-boat sunk a ship with a torpedo.
Maybe it is because its just again a moving of red tape into a direction that spells suffering for the rest of us. What would sto the US from exploding cargo ships headin for Iran, Cuba, Ecuador ... China?
I feel like nothings because, and how goes the conservative humble brag? : "the US is a militarz cosplaying as a nation", and it is true.
I dont even feel like writing a material analysis how the powers that be act in the interest of capital, which they do, because its all so absurd.

I either have to raise the my permanent blood alcohol content or get home asap to return making some art.
Last one, its 18:00 on the 5th of March and it looks like this will just be a longer thing with no specific goal.
Life sure is a shithead
The first week of March was basically wasted for me. I couldnt look for work, nor do actually any commissions. Mainly because my father got a nasty bacterial infection on his arm and was too proud to go to the doctor.
So there was aperiod of 48 hours where amputation was a very feasible result. At the same time we have to move a great aunt of mine to a new flat closer to my parent so they could take better care of her.
That would not be too bad if she didnt live 400km away on her own with no other family close or interested in helping.
That means I run on little sleep, didnt make any art or even think about it, also wasnt home for that time, whih is not too bad but I need to make shit or I feel like I may explode and just sitting and driving
around (driving is basically sitting but destroys the human need to form community (I will write maybe some other time some thoughts on the atomization and suicide of society by car but others have done so already and way better.))
Either way, when I cant make art, even on a vacation where shit hasnt passed through the fan and coated me in a 1,2cm thick layer of fecal matter, I feel like exploding.

There are a lot of Little Fellas In Small Spaces for those who are willing to open their eyes to the beauty of nature. There are a lot of birds rn that are building their nests and there is alway a little
group of sparrows that goes into the facade of our building. I also saw some tits doing the same the other day. My father also is in the garden (he is a critter of sorts too) and flipped over a water tub,
to reveal a little shrew who he then promptly fed some grubs (meal worms with wich he feeds the birds). I have yet to flip a log this year but its about time where you can find some critters under there,
that arent asleep.
