Pooping from a butt in the age of vomiting liquid shit
A post I saw was like "whimsy is aform of resistance" or something like that, and I mean as someone who was generally on board with it till recently but is on their "your on my shitlist motherfucker" arc,
I feel like its often used as a excuse to not do anything. Its like that Zizekian approach to Starbucks, where when you pay for a cuppa joe, you also give part to some developmental help over seas,
cleaning your concience of any of the structurl harm you inflicted by participating in exploitation.
Its real woke hours.
Only this time its, I am whimsical and because thats a form of resistance it allows me to not participate in any narrower movements that would change material reality on the ground.
I may just be really uncharitable to the person, I probably am, but I cant help to feel like there is a similarity of sorts there.
But we each gotta watch out for ourselves during these times, being our best selves, be it having fun with it, being whimsical, eating good food, dressing in good clothes, helps.
But it still bugs me, fuck you.
AfD WIN (uh oh)
So many people (for some reason americans, I think it has to do with them getting to rubberneck at another country doing stupid things for once) are looking at the AfD election in Sachsen Anhalt.
as it stands they sit at basically 44% which does not give thm the majority of seats to govern.
And yeah that result is bad-bad, from what ive seen is that they mainly motivated non-voters to head to the polls. Turnout was around 70%.
And this does not hold much promise for future elections.
Anyway, is it wrong to say I am almost sad they didnt get a majority of seats? Cause now they have to form a coalition, the most ikely candidate is the BSW. Or they form a minority govenrment.
Or the loser parties form a coalition to govern. Either way I cant see the AfD getting anything done which brings me to my start point of: Now they can just blame everyone else for the shit they do.
"boohoo we cant do the things we do because (((THEY))) dont let us, we must do more violence and get more votes next time :) ", instead of them having no excuse in fucking the state up beyond repair.
But we will have to see how it goes. Stunningly the SPD and Greens gained votes too, not too much but its interesting. Die Linke lost some which yeah, remaining SED guys who clung on till now.
Anyway, this is written a day after the election, since this blog post wont come out probably till the end of the month, there'll be some updates about this later.

Ive been born ive been made
This one has actually nothin to do with my birthday, gotcha haha eat shit and die idiot, hehe. Alright so, it was my birthday when I wrote this so maybe give me monkey on

So I have been watching and playing things, first up: Star Trek Lower Decks:
For what its worth its a really fun and good star trek show. I didnt watch it before because it was sold to me as the amercan adult animated comedy of star trek, and it certainly looks like it. But getting more into it, it revealed that it really is a star trek show at heart and the animation is actually far better than I expected. I do still think that the comedy is the main part holding it back, it relis too much on referential humor that becomes less and less specific towards the later seasons. I think it could have been fine just sticking to more obscoure references and jokes and otherwise scatological humor instead of "CAPTAIN JANEWAY !!!! VOYAGER !!!! NICK LARCANO !!!!", anyway. I suggest you give it a watch, its good.
Another thing is Go-Go Town, which sold itself as a more management heavy animalcrossing.
And I gotta say, its not that. The villagers barely matter an its more cozy-chungus factorio than anything else. I do enjoy a good factory management game so I was not negatively taken aback by tat but the animal crossing elements it has attached to the production management aspect of the ame felt undercooked.
The fishing is the most basic it can be, waiting and pressing a button. The fossils are the same, you find them and place them in your town hall but its so easy to find them as to where it feels like you are just doing a gacha thing. The Villagers try to do the Animal Crossing thing where they try to make you care about unique ones that you would want to collect. But since you are mainly just putting them in a stall at a shop you never ever see them anyway and also you cant really interact with them at all, so there is no personality there.
I really like the vehicle mechanics in it, you can find different ones which you can load up with loot, its nice.
Anyway, by the end of the game I saw that they used AI assets so it gets a FAT 0/10 from me, womp womp.
Opinel Schmopinel
So, some time ago I got the new Opiflex Neo No6, I splurged on the one with black metal and the oak grip. When it arrived in the mail, I was delighted cause it was lovingly packaged in a fold open carton with magnets to keep it close. However as soon as I actually held it in my hand I had to find, to my displeasure, that it was really hard to open. And thats nothing new, you tend to have to work the opinels in a bit. But I never encountered something stiff like that before. I actually cut myself breaking it in, and after oiling it and then opening and closing it around 50 times I had it in a state that was acceptable but not handy.
Anyway, I moved on and put my two cents about it on socials. Now after some time I drove to my parents for my birthday. My fater is a bit of a knife nerd and we had talked about the opilfex some time ago, wondering how it worked. I presented it to him and told him what a piece of shit it is, in the hopes that I could give it to him so I dont have to deal with it any longer. The we drove out to get lunch, to a nice fish restaurant in Bottrop. After we returned he told me he ad something for me for my birthday, and that he was emberrased and apologized. I opened the present and was presented with the Opinel Opiflex Neo No6, this time in ebony with a metallic blade. Ofc him apologizing is silly, but what made it even sillier is that this one opened perfectly fine, no problems at all with it. It cant realy compete with the normal opinel but its a nice novelty, and incredibly pretty, so I cant complain!
